Paste Text into Project Libre Notes

I am not able to paste text from .doc or xls or other sources into notes. Is there some way to do this?

Hello! You use what version of ProjectLibre? 1.5.8? Which version of your operating system? Windows? MAC? Linux? Generally if it is a very long text when you paste the copied text in the notes to the tasks ProjectLibre it wont take a while, experienced this behavior with Windows clipboard and do not know if this applies to your scenario. Is only with the version of PL 1.5.8 try to download this version, it already fixes several issues from previous versions. Hope this helps.

I am running PL 1.5.8 on Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. I was trying to paste into the Notes Tab of the Task Information window. When I did this, the pasted information would go into the Name line.
However, if I right click on the Gantt view and insert a Notes Column, I can paste the text into the column. The pasted text appears in the correct place in the Notes Tab. Problem solved!

It would be a help for me too if someone can help with paste text from .doc or xls or other sources into notes. I am new with this and feel struggle fixing things up. Thanks for sharing help tips and notes here to help us. It is really informative.

Issues seem to be with paste
Thanks and it does seem we have issues with pasting.... we have seen that in the spreadsheet as well. We will be changing things in the cloud version. It is an inconvenience!
